Acting Instructor
Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Tyler received his BFA in musical theatre from the nationally recognized College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) at the University of Cincinnati. He has performed on professional stages across the nation; The Alabama Shakespeare Festival (A Christmas Carol), The Carnegie (Into the Woods, RENT, George Remus: A New Musical), and NYC’s 54 Below (Sanctuary in Concert, The Best of Broadway). Passionate about theatre education and youth engagement, Tyler has made his way as a professional teaching artist and educator. He has taught in classrooms at The Cleveland Play House (theatre, early literacy, social-emotional learning) as well as the BW Community Arts School (theatre, acting). Tyler has established a private acting studio that equips advanced young performers with practical vocabulary, tools, and methods for professional work onstage and onscreen. In private lessons, he collaboratively explores, refines, and individualizes text and music with his students.
