Sharon Metivier

Voice Instructor

Sharon Metivier has been teaching voice in Northeast Ohio since 2007. She works with singers to help them find their unique, balanced, and healthy sound. She takes a student-centered approach that focuses on each student’s individual interests, vocal needs, and goals.

Sharon’s students have appeared in principal roles with the national tours of Frozen and Hairspray, the Miss Ohio Pageant, Shining Star CLE Top 10, The Carnegie (Cincinnati), Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Count Basie Center for the Arts, and many school and community theater productions. Her students have been accepted to many top 10 musical theater programs including Baldwin Wallace University, University of Cincinnati, University of North Carolina (Greensboro), Boston Conservatory, and many others.

Sharon has vocal directed several local high school productions including Chicago (2026), The SpongeBob Musical (2025), Once Upon a Mattress (2025), Grease (2024), The Addams Family (2024) and Bye Bye Birdie (2023) and has coached principal characters with the Brunswick Middle School Drama Club since 2016.

Sharon has a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services with a vocal music minor from Baldwin Wallace University and has studied Somatic Voicework™ The LoVetri Method Levels I, II and III. Sharon has studied with Benjamin Czarnota (Heidelberg College, Philadelphia School of the Arts, Baldwin Wallace), David Gooding (Strongsville, Ohio) and piano with Dr. George Cherry (Baldwin Wallace).
